EIFL renews agreement with MSP for three years
EIFL has signed a renewal agreement with Mathematical Sciences Publishers (MSP) for another three years. The agreement provides free access to 19 peer-reviewed journals for institutions in 29 EIFL partner countries.
MSP is a scholar-led non-profit publisher, with a mission to serve the maths community through high-quality publishing. Journals are published in the areas of mathematics and engineering. New journal titles are automatically added to the collection.

The next meeting of the Community of Practice (CoP) for no-fee OA publishing in Africa, that now includes 358 members, will take place on 20 August 2025 at 10:00 UTC.
The meeting will be moderated by Femi Arogundade, of WACREN (West and Central African Research and Education Network), and Iryna Kuchma and Milica Ševkušić, of the EIFL Open Access Programme. Training programmes will be discussed and news and updates from CoP members will be shared.

From Platform to Practice: Using the EDCH Training Platform to build national and institutional capacity
The fifth webinar in the DIAMAS Conversation Series will introduce the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH) Training Platform – its structure and the training modules designed to support the growth of the Diamond open access ecosystem. The introduction will be followed by an open discussion on user experiences, needs and ideas about how the training resources can be adapted to support capacity building at national and institutional levels.
