Associação Multidiscipinar de Investigaçao Cientifica in Angola has initiated a project to strengthen editorial and technical capacity of the Revista Angolana de Ciências (Angolan Journal of Sciences), to build partnerships and to build capacity to publish articles in English in order to broaden the journal’s reach in Africa and other parts of the world.

Pedro Principe, Carla Marques and Marta Morgado (University of Minho) will show how Open Journal Systems (OJS) is used to support the entire editorial workflow – from submission and peer review to publication –  in the two platforms and how it contributes to interoperability, visibility, and the adoption of Open Science practices in Portuguese journals.
