4th Annual Research Dissemination Conference

Iryna Kuchma, Manager of the EIFL Open Access Programme, is to give a keynote address at the 4th Annual Research Dissemination Conference organized by EIFL’s partner library consortium, the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL). The conference theme is ‘Empowering Africa through Open Knowledge: Bridging Present Realities and Future Innovations’.  During the conference, CUUL will celebrate its 21st Anniversary, with the launch of the CUUL journal.

Iryna Kuchma, Manager of the EIFL Open Access Programme, is to give a keynote address at the 4th Annual Research Dissemination Conference organized by EIFL’s partner library consortium, the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL). The conference theme is ‘Empowering Africa through Open Knowledge: Bridging Present Realities and Future Innovations’.  During the conference, CUUL will celebrate its 21st Anniversary, with the launch of the CUUL journal.

ALMASI (Aligning and Mutualizing Nonprofit Open Access Publishing Services Internationally) is inviting policymakers and funders from Africa, Europe, and Latin America to join the 1st Forum on Diamond open access. 

The new ALMASI Diamond OA Policy Forum brings together international, national and local policymakers and funders in the three regions that the ALMASI project addresses: Africa, Europe and Latin America. The aim of the Forum is to discuss nonprofit scholarly publishing policy and funding needs, progress and challenges.
